Duties:  Create and design training manuals and other documentation for Firestone Tire Company’s proprietary Point of Sale software. I returned in 2004 to update the original materials.

Accomplishments:

I developed software-training manuals for Bridgestone-Firestone Retail operations. This included both text and graphic management to create self-instructional guides for non-technical personnel.

As part of the conversion of nearly 100 retail stores to the new computer system, I wrote guides for local operators to convert their existing financial data to a new, common system.

Accomplishments:

As shown in the included list, I actively taught more than 50 computer applications, many at Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced levels. My emphasis was on developing student skills related to their job needs, rather than offering straight book lectures on which buttons to push.
